Golden Acres Mowing has been maintaining commercial and domestic spaces for over two decades in the Gympie region with a motto of “Properties Maintained with Pride”. Locally owned and operated we have a fleet of registered John Deer mowers including four 4WD commercial mowers and three Zero Steer commercial mowers. Our team of 13 employees provides mowing, garden maintenance and pressure cleaning services to a broad range of clients throughout the Gympie & Sunshine Coast region.
About Us
Established in January 2004 by Robert Burns, a proufoundly deaf RAAF veteran with only one eye and major spinal issues. Many employers saw these as barriers to employment so not satisfied with his prospects, Rob established Golden Acres Mowing. Rob is a proud Australian with 20% Aboriginal DNA from his paternal grandmother. As an employer he is an equal opportunity employer and proudly assists those finding it difficult to gain employment to turn their lives around.
